It’s finally not snowing in Colorado (hehe). It’s gone the opposite, and we’ve been rocking some 90 degree weather. I love summer, and I’ll take heat over cold any day, so you will not hear me complain. I’m on a deadline for my next (3rd) Love Inspired Book, which will hopefully come out sometime next year. Hunter McDermott and Rachel Maddox will get their own story full of fiestiness and redemption, and I’m so excited about it! In the middle of writing, I found these lovelies in my mail box.
About a month ago, Kara and I won the non-fiction section in The Selah Awards, which are hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. Then, we had the honor of finding out Just Show up also won book of the year. I was completely shocked! Here I am outside in 90 degree weather because my house is too messy to take a picture in. 🙂
To top it off, Just Show Up is on Kindle sale through the 15th of July. It’s only 1.99. I’m praying that this allows more people who could use encouragement in walking through suffering together to get their hands on it. If you know of someone who could benefit from reading Just Show Up, please share the sale with them as it won’t last much longer. Or you can always gift an ebook. I so appreciate you all spreading the word!

Thank you!! I am sure she is too. 🙂 We went mini golfing, and it was pretty funny. There wasn’t a lot of rule following going on. 😉 But we did have fun!
