I know many of you *must* hold a book in your hands. You love the smell and feel of the pages. You want to drop a book in the bath instead of dropping a tablet. Oh, wait. It’s just me who does things like that, I’m sure. And I certainly didn’t once sacrifice a Bible in the water in a mad grab to save said tablet. π I’ll take a book any way I can get it. Ebook, paperback. New. Thrift store. Last week, we found my daughter a stack of Babysitter’s Club books at a great vintage book store in Breckenridge. We can’t find them very often, and this was a huge deal for my little reader. I loved reading these when I was a kid.
For those of you who love your ebooks, Just Show Up is currently half-off if you pre-order. And then magical little elves will deliver the book to your ereader on October 1st. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works…
And if you prefer paperback, it will be in stores starting in October.
Also, the giveaway is still open. Just sign up for my email list to be entered to win a signed early copy of Just Show Up before it’s in stores.
So, let’s hear it. Which do you prefer–Ebook or paperback?

We seem to have a landslide for paperbacks going on here! π
I’m old school! At least in somethings — and books is one of them. Paperback all the way. I like to mark them up like my day-timer. Oh wait, I don’t have a day-timer. That’s old school. I like my iphone/google calendar. I’m a mix and match type of girl! CONGRATS on the new read! Can’t wait..

ha! Funny girl. I remember day timers… and how I never wrote much of anything in them. π And thank you!
Definitely paperback, there’s just something about holding a book!!

I do love that feeling. π
A real paperback book, yes! There is no substitute……how can you curl up by your wood stove with your computer or tablet or whatever? The heat is dangerous to the life of your technical tools!
Author
I never thought of that. Good point! π
Paperback! Love the feel, the smell, and to highlight and go back to!

Highlighters are the BEST!
Paperback all the way, everyday.

hard to distinguish if my delight with paper-goods began with holding hard=cover/paperback books or vice versa….but this I do know: there’s something special, to me, about trying to balance a fresh cup of flavored coffee and turning the pages of a paperback.
Definitely paperback! Easier to hold a book at the “right length” for the eyesight than anything electronic!
ebook. I am previewing the book now! I was able to clean my kitchen, start a roast, sweep and mop and finish about 3 blogs this morning ALL while finishing 1/2 of the book!!
THAT;S why I love ebooks! Listening to books lets me process through many more than I could otherwise.
Most days I can’t see the page of a book because I’m diabetic and I’m losing my eyesight (no worries) I’m good with it God has opened so many more senses for me.
But definitely an ebook or audiobook.
BTW, may I just say,, this is one of the best books I have read so far this year. There have been a lot also!
It will be a book I share with my best friend. Our hard is she is in the military and gets these little one year vacations, and I have several, severe illnesses … So thank you so much for writing this bookl I am so sorry for the hard that gave you the struggle for the purpose of the book to begin with. I have cried at the words I’ve heard so much already and I am just so touched by the words God gave you both.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
